Author Visit- Keith Shelton

Author Keith Shelton will be in store signing copies of his book, Chance: My Life as a Series of Chances.

Keith Shelton is a WWII veteran, former editor of the Denton Record-Chronicle, retired writer-in-residence from the University of North Texas journalism school, and former reporter with the Dallas Times-Herald, covering JFK's visit to Dallas on November 22, 1963.

His reporter's notebook and oral history of that fated day are in the collection at the Sixth Floor Museum.

"How chance determined my life, including the chance that I was traveling with President Kennedy and was in the motorcade when he was shot. I was the political writer for the Dallas Times Herald."
